CONFERENCE THEME: Enhancing Logistics and Transport for Sustainable Blue Economy in Nigeria

2025 Annual Conference of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Nigeria (CILT 2025)

Nigeria, endowed with extensive coastal and inland waterways, holds significant potential for harnessing economic
growth and sustainable development through its Blue Economy. To leverage this potential, effective, efficient, and
sustainable logistics and transportation systems are critical. The 2025 CILT Nigeria National Conference aims to
explore innovative strategies, best practices, and practical solutions to enhance logistics and transportation,
fostering sustainable and commercially viable opportunities within Nigeria’s Blue Economy.

OBJECTIVES

The conference will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, academics, and stakeholders to
deliberate on achieving sustainability while maximizing profitability within Nigeria’s maritime and inland water
sectors.
 To examine current logistics and transport practices within Nigeria’s maritime and inland waterway sectors.
